Chambers Studio was created by co-founders, Jared Chambers and Ali Whithorne. After a few test shoots together, we realized we clicked creatively, and while building a life together, we decided to build a business too.

Ali comes from assisting and retail, and the organizational and people skills she picked up ended up being exactly what Jared needed in the world of freelance photography.

We found an industrial space in Ventura, loved it, and signed the lease with almost no plan. From there, we built something out of very little, blending both of our styles into a studio that feels warm and inviting.

After years of working in studios that felt cold or temporary, we wanted something different. A space that feels lived-in. A space that makes you want to stay and actually create.

Hominess guides everything here. From how we welcome clients, to the rental experience, to keeping the studio clean, stocked, and comfortable. As we grow, we hope to host workshops, small gatherings, and events that bring Ventura’s creative community together.
